hey guys.new to the forms and i need some help.heres the backdrop.i recently bought a chipped p28 tuned by kenji.it was tuned for a b16a2.im runnung a d16y7 with a y8 intake and i plan on keeping that way till mabey one day doing an ls swap.now with that said can i put this ecu in my car and mabey clip the wire that reads for the vtec?or can i dummy it out?ive done it before when we had a jdm ls swap in an em1.we just paper clipped the harness for the vtec selenoid and it read like it was their taking it out of limp mode/how do i do this without a vtec selenoid?clip the wire?

 

I'll give you the same response I gave you in the other thread you posted this in. Disable vtec in the tuning software when you have it tuned. If you're planning to run an ECU that's been tuned for a completely different engine you're absolutely nuts.
