Reason for selling: Im not pressed on getting rid of this car but I've owned it since 06 and have had my fun, getting my daughter in and out of this is not fun. Ready to move on to something bigger as much as I hate to get rid of this.
For Trade: This car is in great condition & is probably one of the cleanest RSX's you will see so I am expecting something the same in return! I am open to just about anything so shot me a offer!
This is my 02 RSX Type S I am putting for trade. I’ve owned the car since Oct. 06. I bought it completely stock from CarMax of Fredericksburg, VA. The car has around 124k on it right now but miles will go up as it is my daily driver. This car has been wonderful to me & almost flawless. The car has never left me stranded & in fact the only problem I have had was when the stock transmission broke. The transmission was replaced with a brand new CTR transmission. The car does have Kpro & is street tuned by Magnesium off ClubRSX! There were no corners cut on this car, it is kept up & maintained in every aspect. The oil has only been changed with mobil 1 5w30 and Honda oil filters. I have so many people who can vouch for this car & how clean it is. This car is probably one of the cleanest 02 RSXs you will see. The paint & interior is kept up weekly. The paint is nearly swirl free, there are a few dings i wont lie. Interior is nearly perfect as well. I keep dealer plastic on the floor, stock floor mats & door sills.
The engine was just rebuilt back in Nov. of 2010 due to it spinning a rod bearing on rod #2. The engine was fully rebuilt with with another crank that was mirco polished, acl race rod, main and thrust bearing. OEM oil pump and water pump were also installed. New OEM valve stem seals, OEM wrist pins, new front and rear main seals. Also the timing chain & chain tensioner were replaced at 118k with all OEM honda parts, Both front calipers were replaced recently as well. When I rebuilt the engine I also replaced the 2nd gear set in the trans due to it having a grind at upper RPMs. The engine runs wonderful and the trans shifts perfect.
I have almost every stock part to this car that will go with it to the new owner, so who ever gets it would have to bring a large truck to put all the parts in.

Airport is only a hour and half away! I guarantee this car is just as clean if not cleaner than one with lower milage! There are some ppl shocked when I tell them it is a 02'
