Icon6 Looking for a Good Shop in NY

Hey guys,

Although this is my first post, I've been reading the site for a little over 6 months. I'm moving back to NY and was looking for a local shop that does great work. I know this is the place so give me some leads!

BTW, I have a semi build Honda Element, with a K24 swap, lots of goodies and I need some work done to finish up this project. I will post pictures within a day or so.

Thanks!
Chris

Yeah...because it makes sense to drive 4+ hours there, if they are moving to Central or Western NY.

Over the years, i have seen many people drive much more than just 4+ hours, because they know were to go, when they want the best. Just take a minute to look at the web site.

FWIW, look into Synapse Turbo, and Xenocron also. I deal with both places on the regular, and I'm more than happy sending them business.

Would love to help out if you need it!

Synapse is a great place as well if you are near central NY or Albany

Thanks for all the input, I should be all moved to Westchester, NY by the end of next month.

I don't think I'll be going to NRG Tech because I've heard the two owners have prior criminal records and have been questioned numerous times by the Suffolk county NY auto-crime division. Also the business is going to be sold because of an impending divorce. The story goes that one of the owners cheated on his wife and she's going after it in court. Don't think I could trust people like that OR want to give them my hard earned money.

Thanks for all the PM's, the info was VERY helpful!!

wow you went digging deep to get some information on picking the right shop. That's pretty cool. I did some homework also and picked NRG Tech/CMR. Everyone has their option to choose who they want. I don't see a need though to post some of the items you have though pertaining to defamation of character based on opinions..

Anyway good luck on your build. Would be nice to see professional substance in these threads, but then again it is Hondatech..
