Default Where to buy a '96 or newer Hatchback with ITR engine?

I keep on looking in thepartstrader.com and the only ITR Engined Civics all seem to have "widebody" or some other goofy body kit on them.

Anyone have a wonderfull car to sell me for a reasonable amount.? I am not even having much luck locating a donor chassis.

The 6th gen cars can run in the USTCC thing, but it doesn't appear they do that well.

Thanks.

Just keep you eye out in the classifieds forum. I've seen a LOT of hybrids put up for sale in the last few months. I'd say that most of them weren't "riced out" either.

buy yourself a cheap hatch then go steal a type r.....that's the only way you can get an ITR engine in a hatchback....well that's what all the boneheads over in the ITR Forum think!! they there is no such thing as a LEGIT SWAP....screw them everloving pigs....i have done like 30 swaps all which have been legit!!!

i will keep my eye open for you!

But he said he wants it *with* a B18c5. That has no engine.

I just found the rolling chassis.

It will be easier for him to find the chassis and then get a drivetrain then it will be to find the car built already. It will probably be cheaper too.

I believe by a "donor", he means that he can't find a wrecked ITR to get the engine out of... perhaps I'm reading it wrong...

edit - spelling is hard

That could very well be the case but assuming he does find a wrecked ITR then he will need something to put the motor into.

What's harder to find... a b18c5 engine, or a hatch shell? My guess is the engine, so why buy the shell first? Cart before the horse in my opinion.

Thank you....too bad it is completely accross the country from me.

I think Type R swaps are semi easy to find, but everyone wants $5k for them it seems.
