Lower Ball Joints -Pressed-in or Snap Ring
Hello all,
First post for this long time Honda owner. The vehicle is a 2000 Accord Coupe 4cyl. I recently replaced the right front lower ball joint with one from NAPA. The one they gave me was a press fit version. I have already installed it but I noticed the factory one on the left is a snap ring version. The left lower ball joint needs to be replaced. The question to the board is:
Should I try track down another snap ring version and then replace the one on the right? Or is the pressed in versions adequate for a daily driver?
thanks in advance for the repsonses.

i did my lower ball joints in my 93 and they are pressed in and then have a snap ring. the first set i got was for a civic and was considerably smaller and they told me that they would work for my accord. so i went to napa and got the correct ones pressed it in and added the snap ring.. any way the snap ring is for safety for u and other drivers. so id recommend it..
