My car recently began loose "pull" when accelerating and sometimes has a "jumping" feeling to it while driving. It feels like it not catching gears when driving also. I took my car to Advanced Auto Parts and they put it on the computer and it read that the O2 sensor needed to be replaced, nothing more. So I bought the replacement part, installed it and drove it around. The car still feels like it is not accelerating properly and a small amount of white smoke is coming from the O2 sensor area. I was told the catalytic converter might have to be replaced, but before investing in that, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions?
