All the models now besides SI come with eco assist, like the insight... not saying all the models are hybrids... but they change the charictiristics of how the motor responds and how steering responds... like the CRZ... The screen is a monitor that shows how well your driving and other info... sorta like the tree and leaf thing in the insight... you will be able to have a customisable wallpaper for the screen that you can upload threw the usb port. trip meter... can have color themes... you can change the interior lighting settings along with headlight auto off and auto door lock features... in eco assist mode it will become a "coaching mode" to show what I stated above... on the SI it will become a power monitor that will quote "shows what percentage of engine horsepower is being used."

What?!?! The 8th gen LX had 16". But the LX does add Steering Wheel controls, remote trunk, USB and Color i-MID, compared to the 8th gen.
The Si with all the stupid gimmicks (power/hp display), people just want a high-revving engine.

I acually told the honda rep and showed him a few threads on here showing how most were disapointed and shared alot of info about what "we" want... and he acually said yeah I've heard this at about every dealership I've went to for this event...
curb weights and MPG info were left out blank on the charts... there were a few other things left off the charts as well... Along with wrong info that the guy had us change...
I have motor specs give me a little bit and I'll have them up before I get off today... sorry selling cars is a little more important... lol
Ok 1.8 is...
140 @ 6500 rpm HP
128 @ 4300 rpm TQ
MPG 28/39
SI 2.4 has...
198 @ 7000 rpm HP
170 @ 4300 rpm TQ
No MPG at this point...

So I take it the rev is to 7400rpm? I like the sedan but damn I'm disappointed in this engine... At least have the K20 head on it from factory : )~

the new Si is supposed to get 31 mpg highway. the reason they upped the engine size is to produce more torque (honda has never been competitive with this, but that never really stopped them from racing...) they probably use slightly less aggressive cams than they did in the past, hence the 7400 rpm redline... why? gas of course. honda used to be the king of mpgs in the 90s, and now ford is beating them. so of course this is the obvious course of action from their perspective, because the general population will just buy and Si. for the more hardcore fans... just hope that they release a limited version with more aggressive cams...
