I'm looking to find out exactly how to connect this breakther box the right way and I was told that I need a PVC valve or something of that nature... Is there any write up or diagrams on what goes where and how to connect this the right way? I'm not sure if this is whats causing my problem... but I'd like to have it correct regardless...

 

you need 4, 7, and 5.... most of the breather boxes still have the nipple on them...

 

Yea, I dont have those parts.... Are those parts I have to get from the dealer? or can I pull a sheet like this at a local auto parts store?

 

What parts? its hoses, clamps and PCV valves, you don't need the molded rubber/metal lines unless you want true OEM setup.

 

But isnt there a certain size hose I'm going to need... this diagram is a little difficult for me as I dont have a stock manifold to see where to make the connections...

 

yes but you can easily match those to the pcv valve at any auto shop

I know this is a super old thread to bump, but has anyone else had a HELL of a time trying to get the PCV valve back into the breather box? I just replaced the box and I've been fighting with the PCV for like 25 minutes. I took off my throttle body and everything trying to get to this damn thing. Any suggestions?

 

it doesn't sit in the box. it sits in a grommet on the intake manifold.

 

Just scroll up and look at the picture that was posted. PCV goes into a hose, and there is a different fitting that goes into the breather box, in which that hose connects to.

 

Oh goddamnit I'm talking about the wrong thing then I'm talking about #2 on the diagram.
