right about time i started a thread and started on the coupe!

got it back in march off my mate he had done everything himself but had to sell it so i grabbed it!

has 61,680k on the clock as we speak so low mileage for 13yrs old

havent done much on it just de-cated and stripped it

my birthday in a 2weeks and payday so ill be getting a few things and see how it goes from then..

so the plans nothing over the top just a nice oem style


note that this wont be done over a month or two my target is about 8months for the appearance as i have a holiday to save for and not on mega bucks like everyone else on here seems to be


how she stands and sounds atm..







UPDATES

got my upper front strut
lower tie bar
upper rear strut
and smoked side repeaters
and waiting for my jap size plates to turn up

next week if funds allow i should be getting fog lights, wind deflectors and hid's

not really an update just put my new sticker on after a good detailing session!

seen a few stickers on some u.s hondas but theirs saying vtec but i dont have vtec so it had to be honda

note this took about 3months of collecting parts so i spend a few K in a short amount of time.. the joys of having to jobs and working longgg hours!

 

those wheels are hot

 

tires look too thin.

 

their 45 profiles but im thinking about going 50 on rears to get some serious stance

I actually really like that! Nice to see something different to the norm over this side of the pond. The LCAs are perfect imo man. What are the plans from here?

why are you choosing an h22 for your powerplant? j/w

 

more torque for the heavy coupes.. and Bswaps are getting quite common

 

Ya H would be pretty cool. There's a guy near me now starting into a H22 EJ9 build so that should be interesting. Very neglected engine imo...

was speaking to a guy on my local forum and he said he'd fit a h22 in for me..for free! lol so i need to save up and starting looking for nice h22 engine :D

No he's on Honda-Haven, an Irish Honda forum. That's awful handy having someone to do it for free! Keep an eye out for a Prelude now with a rusty shell and you'll get yourself a cheap H22. Shouldn't cost you more than £500 tops surely? At least then you will have everything you need for the swap and Prelude calipers for a nice brake upgrade too

 

yeah really handy but ill offer him money as it would be rude not to..
yeah ill keep my eye out for them but i was thinking about the accord type-r engine aswel maybe buy it as a donor?
