im just covering everything in case someone wanted to know something. its installed on a 99 civic and yea im sure its wired correctly. i put the manual up here in case someone is an alarm installer. i guess i should look for an alarm forum
you cant start a manual unless the clutch is pressed, therefore u would have to disable the clutch switch(no idea of the proper name) located just above the the clutch pedal, this is dangerous since the car will turn on whether or not the clutch is pressed. if you like to park your car in 1st gear or forget accidentally and you remote start it, you can see the problem.
Well we've had it on for 5 years so far. No accidents yet. To set the remote start the car must still be running and since you cannot do that IN gear it must be in neutral PRIOR to turning the car off. This insures the car will not be in gear when started. If you are not using the remote start the alarm and car operates as normal-the clutch pedal still has to be depressed to start.

yea im aware of the dangers. and ever since i have been driving manual cars i have never left it in gear. really no need to since reno is flat. My problem is it goes through all the sequences but wont even crank. i will post this in the audio section though or if a MOD can move it there for me.

Yeah, I'm not saying your an amateur, but just words for the wise. And I've heard of a few occasions where a m/t car with a remote start ran itself right off a lift, that has scared me away.
you dont have to disable nothing they sell a module for remote start for std cars. for example on my car to leave it in remote start i need to press the brake lift the hand brake put the car on Neutral and realease the brake take the key out of the ignition and lock it with the ke and thats it. to turn it on i just need to press the unlock button and whala. if i dont fallow those step my car wont turn on with the remote star and i need to turn the car like everone else by pressing the clutch
