OEM Honda Touch Up paint question!

hey guys, recently bought some touch up paint for my FA5. However, its really thick! Should it be that way? Or do I have to thin it out before applying it to the car? Any help on this?

Make sure to shake it up really good and then brush it on..no you don't have to thin it out..

and i must apply clear coat afterwards? or is that not needed
