dont typically make these threads but i just had to know what this color was because i love it



anyone have any ideas what this color is? looks to be a very dark metallic green, im not usually big on greens but i love this color. hard to say if the tree's in the background are giving that green effect and its actually a dark gray.

yeah, people gota realize, names dont mean ****... names are usually made up for colors to identify them for a particular car/manufacturer. but that doesnt always mean that the chemical make up of that name and color is always the same for the next car.

in other words. i could call that car comsic grey, wolf graphite, moon dust charcoal and it means nothing untill u have a code.

upon googling thunder metallic grey, up comes toyotas that look nothing like the integra posted above. however, there is an OEM integra color that is the same greyish color. but i dont think thats the same color as the integra posted above either. i could be wrong

 

I would call that car dark grey.

I feel like an unproportionate number of ht members are color blind bc thse ?s alway s come up.

 

looks like a variant of a color I was looking at which is grigio avalon, I believe the paint code is 9002, if you look up the color there are numerous pics, Id say its pretty close. Paint code can be easily attained, its a Lambo OEM color

 

Yep, looks like dark gray. Posting a picture on the internet is about the worst way to find out how to recreate a color.

 

there is variances for this color. You can check pictures or you can find a paint code book from a manufacture i.e. ppg, sikkens, dupont. honda paint is typically one color code for most but sometimes there is multiples of a color like milano red.
