hiya. someone broke into my del sol last night. don't know how, but the interior door handle trim is cracked and the handle is protruding outward. i tried to push it back in but it keeps popping out. so i ordered a new door handle, and before i go at it, i was wondering if any of you kind folk on H-T could help me out. i have no idea where to begin, how to get into the door panel or what to do.

i downloaded a chilton's manual but the instructions were very vauge, mainly for doors with manual windows.

can someone inform me how to:
1. remove the panel
2. how to remove old door handle assembly
3. and how to replace it with the new one.
4. without breaking or damaging the door panel.

the door panels are usually easy well for me there might be a plastic screw towards the far end of the door panel. and also unscrew the screw on ur handle and just pull from the bottom of ur panel outwards. after the bottom pins are popped u can slide the panel upwards and should be off.
