94 CIVIC EX STEREO WIRING HARNESS
MY STEREO WAS STOLEN. IM NOT GETTING A READING ON MY METER FROM THE SWITCHED 12V+ WIRE (YELLOW/RED). NOW MY WIRES THAT COME OUT OF THE DASH ARE REALLY SHORT & THEY ARE KINDA MELTED TOGETHER. I WAS ABLE TO PULL THEM APART & IDENTIFY THE COLORS. IVE BEEN SEARCHING ONLINE TO FIND A REPLACEMENT HARNESS, THE WHOLE THING. DOES IT EXIST? WHAT IS IT CALLED? SHOULD I BE CALLING JUNKYARDS? SHOULD I JUST TAKE IT TO A STEREO SHOP? IM A WOMAN, IM PRETTY HANDY...FOR A WOMAN LOL. ANY ADVICE IS APPRECIATED!
You can buy the whole harness from honda, they're pricey though. Junkyard unit should be pretty cheap, the harness runs behind the guage cluster (plugs into the cluster as well as the hazard light switch) and then plugs into the front of the fuse panel. If it's a 5 speed EX I have the harness you're looking for in my F/S thread (link is in my signiture at the bottom of this post) I may also have an automatic unit as well.
Also, please turn the caps lock off, no need to yell.

YES ITS A 5 SPEED EX. WOW I DIDNT KNOW HOW IT WAS CONNECTED. THAT PROBABLY REQUIRES THE DASH BEING REMOVED RIGHT? WELL IM GOING TO HAVE TO LOOK INTO HOW THAT IS DONE BEFORE I DECIDE WHAT IM GOING TO DO. THANKS!
It does not require that the dash be removed. Just the bezel around the cluster, the cluster itself, the knee bolster, and the center section with the ashtray in it. all of which can be removed quite easily.
