93 accord body 94 f22b1 vtec engin
has anyone done this swap? i need info and cannot find anything.. everyone i ask says direct bolt in, that is true but not for vacume lines and wiring. please if anyone has this info it would help alot.. thanks
dont do it
sohv vtec is not what you think, in accords its between 2700 and 3200rpm, its a economy thing. why do you want to swap motors? is your junk? i.e. rod bearing, knocking, leakign oil, 300k miles etc

yeah i had it and didnt have cash for a f22a1 so i swaped it in wired it and i have the vacume lines were there suposta be but now i have no fuel, i was told that if the vacume lines wernt in the correct places that that could cause me to not have fuel
Alright let's back up. What do you have in your car right now. Vacuum doesn't do **** for fuelm whoever said that, never ask them for help again. The only thing vacuum does with fuel is lower the fuel pressureduring vacuum. If you. Have no fuel check your engine grounnds, fuel pump, relays, fuses etc
i have a 93 accord lx witch had a f22a1 witch is obd1. so i put a 94 f22b1 vtec motor in witch is obd1 as well. i used the f22a1 harness and a axid works sub harness for vtec and oil pressure switch. i used a diagram from the f22a1 and the diagram from the f22b1 for vacuum lines and pretty much put everything were they said to go. so now im to the point that everything is back 2geather and i have amazing spark and i have fuel to the filter but not to the injectors... do i need to wire in for different injector pulse? or should i use the f22a1 injectors? idk i feel like im going in circles and i need the car done so i can park my civic. so if you or anyone else has info please write back. thanks
I see you got no final answer. I know this is an old post but if you see this I am doing the exact same swap and.need some info if you were successfull. I saw the extra vacumes and the fuel lines were opposite on the two motors.
You just need an 8 foot bulk vacuum hose from Honda and redo the vacuum lines. Swap the fuel rail. Add vtec pressure switch and vtec solenoid wires to the ecu.
Shouldn't be all that hard. You will need the b1 ecu.
