Just swapped a b16a3 in my hatch when I start the car up it automatically revs out, anyone know what some of the causes for this may be? Any and all help is appreciated

Rpms shoot to max n attempt to stay

 

Check whether the throttle cable is too tight and holding the throttle plate open. Also clean the throttle body, if it is sticking open.

 

Gonna try another throttle body and see what happens, current is cleaned throttle cable disconnected but still maxs out rev, I'm think it's fractured some place possibly cuz I can't figure out why it's doing this at the moment will post results with another throttle body in a few mins

 

Check the TB and IM gaskets and make sure they are torqued to spec.

 

u gotta air leak some where. like they said check tb, ask gaskets etc etc.

put your hand over the tb and see if it stalls out.

if u smoke light up a cig, and blow the smoke around some things to see if u can see where its getting sucked in.
