One more ecu question(p72)!! lol
i was wondering if anyone knew the exact differences between the
usdm - 37820-P72-A03 obd1 ecu and the
jdm - 37820-P72-003 obd1
googled and checked the archives, but couldn't find anything.
so far everyone has said the jdm one should work fine, yet it's tuned a little bit more aggressive..i won't need to change anything would I by using it as a DD?
both are virgins, but if it requires some adjustments i rather just get the usdm for about 10-20 more bucks lol

Other than you won't pass smog with the JDM P72 (I believe it doesn't look for EVAP purge). Also it has a speed limiter of 110MPH I believe as well.
If you have a JDM motor, you cannot run a USDM ecu. Well, you can but vtec won't work properly. JDM motors do not have a vtec pressure switch. Some people use a sky wire, but something about jumping ecu wires just doesn't seem like a good idea to me. Other than that I don't think there is a difference.
