I keep seeing links to 90-93 Accord quarter panel patch panels but they are all for sedans. However, I have a 2 door. My rust is in the typical spot - back part of quarter panel near the bumper cover. Will that section near the bumper cover of the "sedan" patch panels work on my 2-door?

Car guy all my life - I race Fords but my old standby daily driver is a 92 Accord! 240k miles and runs strong as ever - all stock. It's time to freshen up the outside and I need to tackle this rust first.

the distance between the wheelwell and the door sill is shorter in a sedan than it is in a coupe. that said you can modify a sedan rear quarter patch to work in a coupe. its all fab work afterall.

 

Both quarter panels are different due to the rear door on the sedan being closer to the rear wheel arc compared to the coupe.
