before l started motor on swap l drained tranny fluid and chaned it was kinda grey and sludge since it was sitting. now l check fluid to try and add some since shift lever seal has a small leak. and its grey sludge in the fill hole. should l change it again or what?

 

There shouldn't be any sludge build up inside the transmission. What do you mean by "shift lever seal??" You mean Axle Seal??

 

drain and refill the fluid a few times before you really put miles on it.
