I live in Houston and know Jason (Stoopid). I never saw the car although I have seen pictures and I never heard anyone say it was a stock motor. Not the bottom end atleast. I am pretty sure it was resleeved with crower rods and forged pistons! 99.9% sure! You can find videos on http://www.houston-imports.com or jump on yahoo and punch in civic racing viper. You should always find that one!

Jinxproof, how much did you get for your car? If you don't mind me asking!

I talked to St00pid about 2 summers ago and he mentioned having two gsr engines, one completely stock and another with, (I forget what he built it with, but I do remember DFI as Tony1 stated, bottem-end work, sleeves...) it's hard to state exactly from two years ago, but I believe I was most shocked because it was the stock one he had run 20-22 psi on, maybe not all the time but at least a few times. Both engines were said to have 400+ hp. I don't think he will reply to this post, he doesn't get online much anymore, but I hear he responds to e-mails still when he has the opportunity.

There's nothing wrong with DFI specifically, it's just old technology. It's like atari compared to what's available today. But, old as it may be, it does work. About a year ago I built a street car for a guy in Austin. Fully built gsr, dfi, drag turbo kit with an upgraded turbo, and it made 450whp with full exhaust. So...it does work.

I have seen a stock bottom end car go 10's with just a headgasket. Thats Inline Pro's specialty. If I am lucky at the track maybe i can hit that too

St00pid on his black hatch had a built motor and dfi. The video we all saw with Outkast playing in the back ground was a hatch that ran an 11 stock motor and dfi.

LOL, that's funny what Tony said about DFI. My cousin has the old school DFI on his Mustang and ever since I got the AEM I call His DFI atari and my AEM play station.

the timer goes off when you trip the beam. it has nothing to do with the reaction time. unless your racing heads up, which he wasn't.
