I was replacing my shocks today and as I finished putting on the last one, I noticed my car made a weird sound when I took the car off the jack stands, so I opened my hood and saw my driver side strut rod poking out along with the bushings. I tried to see what I could do so i jacked up the car and tried to take the strut rod nut off, but everytime i try to move it, it twists along with the rod. What can I do?
what did u replace them with? stock or what? look on the top of the strut ( like under your hood) and see if u can put a allen wrench inside it and tighten it? and by u saying "saw my driver side strut rod poking out along with the bushings" you dont have all the washers in, or in the right place

You forgot the bumpstop plate, which is a thick washer with tapered hole to match the tapered portion of the shock piston. And use an allen wrench to hold the shaft while removing the nut.
