Default rear seat belts

I just bought a 93 ITR hatch and I need rear seat belts! The ones he gave me with it won't unretract / come out and I was told they need to be replaced. Anyone have some or a suggestion on how to unwind them and if they are ok!?

A 93 ITR hatch?????

Just replace them, they are far to easy to find, and replace. It's not worth the headache of attempting to fix them.

Don't make fun. Its a 93 SI hatch with a full ITR swap (except ecu), engine, trans, intake, and shortened itr exhaust. I removed the blue cover, released the "trap" once, and they seem to be working fine now, as long as they are correctly oriented. I think they were just wound up too far. I wouldn't have minded getting new ones but that's a pain and I really want to drive this car after spring break, only drove it around the block when I bought it.

I wouldn't even want people in the back of my car.

Unless your transporting drunk chicks, but that is a entirely different story
