first off sorry so long, tryin to be detailed.i have a 94 accord ex 2dr. over the weekend i installed 2.0" progress lowering springs w/ kyb gr-2 struts and a ST rear sway bar. after the install i took the car on a test drive, the car rides very good, damn near perfect, except one thing. when i hit small bumps in the road, there is a weird noise coming from only the rear. best i can describe it is it sounds exactly like the rear springs are loose and banging around. so i tested it, k so if im driving down the road and i swerve the car from side to side i can make the noise, like the spring is moving around. now when i go over good size bumps or speed bumps it sounds like the hole sturt and spring is moving up and down. now i work in a shop so i did everything on a lift and all nuts and bolt were properly torqued. and after test drive every nut and bolt was re-torqued. so everything is tight. when the car is sitting on the ground i can reach my hand up and grab the spring and i can not feel any movement in that thing what so ever. so im lost. now the ONLY things i didnt replace are the rubber pieces on the bottom where the spring sits and also the strut bearing plates. like i said the car rides almost perfect except this one little annoying sound. thanks for any help.

You might also have worn out strut mounts.

no i double checked sway bar and that has alot of clearance. and it is coming from both left and right sides. i ordered new strut bearing plates and will put them in this weekend and see what happens cause everything looks to be lined up perfectly. now i was talking with one of our techs today and he said that if i had too much camber in the rear that it could also be making that noise. we are going to do the alignment today on the car. but any thoughts on that also. thanks
Well first of all, GR-2 shocks are OE replacements. I have no idea why you would get OE replacement shocks for a 2" drop. Those will more than likely blow pretty quickly.
Have you checked to see if you're sitting on the bump stops? 2" isn't REALLY low but GR-2's aren't the greatest choice for going that low. Chances are, your bump stops may be hitting.

ya but if the bump stops were to be hitting, wouldnt the front also be hitting as well, and not just the rears.
