1992 Civic Hatch 4500 OBO
1992 Honda Civic Hatchback CX, 5 speed, D16Z6 motor with a freshly rebuilt head, new distributor, fresh oil change, new spark plug wires and newer spark plugs. Has a 4-2-1 Ebay header, paint is faded but is still good to go, full 2 ½ inch exhaust with no cat and skunk2 Megapower J-Spec 72mm canister. It is very loud and will turn all eyes on you if you get on it but I have only received compliments on how it sounds. It has the Password JDM cf intake, the engine bay is painted blue with metal flakes(it’s the blue metal speck you can buy in the spray cans) it has a few places that need to be touched up. It has a new Ebay front bumper cover and passenger fender.
All four fenders have been rolled professionally by Deft Motion, it does have quarter size rust spots on the rear fenders as do all hatches and it does need paint but the body is straight and has a clean TN title.
The interior is in very good shape, has GSR cloth seats out of a 99 teg, carpet is still nice and so is the dash with no cracks. It does have the cf glove box and I also have the amber clock that is not installed but comes with the car. If you’re interested and it will be extra but I have an integra dash and consol swap for it. It has been wired up to use the civic harness, but you will need to integra blower motor.
Currently it needs the valve in the engine bay that controls the heat , right now it’s set on max but it’s easy to adjust manually. The car had ac but during the motor swap we didn’t have time to put it back on, I have all the lines and the compressor for it and it will be good to go.
The car has Skunk2 Pro C coilovers on it that are about a year old, it has 15” Drag DR-23’s on it and Falken 205/50 tires that are a year old and have tons of tread left, they are practically brand new. It does have some camber wear but nothing what you would think for how low it sits. Also has the Type R style poly rear lip.
The only major problems are the paint, the motor is cold natured, and the Spoon VTEC controller I have on it throws a check engine light saying the ECT and VTEC solenoid are bad. The controller is missing two wires which cause it to throw the code, I have replaced the ECT sensor and VTEC works. The odometer shows 234,***. I’m mainly testing the waters on this because I do have a spare Z6 head that I have thought about building for it. I’d be willing to trade mainly for a 97 up EK coupe or 4 door integra that has a clean title, no junk garbage or stupid offers. Cash is what will talk the most here.
