I was wondering if I could buy OEM/Aftermarket resonators online or at Local Shops (If your in hawaii). I can't find anything down here so far. Any recommendations guys? We got checkers, redline, and some mom/pop shops. Online vendors?
Im gonna attempt to build my own cat/back piping with a kakimoto mooofler. Uncles a welder by trade for 20 years and he's gonna do the dirty work.
I'm goin for 2.25 piping until I get a motor. I was opting for one resonator, but I would prefer double inline resonators (I hate loud/raunchy mufflers).
Your opinions are welcomed!!

I've purchased a cat and dynomax muffler (for a truck, not my car) from this place before

They carry Dynomax and Magnaflow, you can use a Magnaflow round body muffler as a resonator

Post some pics of your exhaust system once you build it up. I plan on doing the same thing on my car but using a ITR muffler.

Does putting a resonator in your exhaust restrict flow much? I would love to have a quieter exhaust, I just dont want to put any sort of a restriction on my exhaust.
Anything designed to quiet/muffle your exhaust is going to restrict flow a bit but the amount a straight thru muffler and/or resonator restrict is really insignificant. Notice that most, if not all aftermarket "cat back" systems include a resonator? Usually omitting one results in that raspy, hollow sound.
