I'm also considering buying an F22B1 and swapping that into it, would that be an easy swap?

 

Yes. But assuming you are swapping because you want more power, you wouldn't notice much with a B1. If you want semi-quick with reliability, might as well go ahead and swap in an H22. If you want a lot more fun and maybe a few headaches, boost the F22A1.

 

the only expensive part of boosting it would be finding a manifold but other than that you can get some good pricing and it would make more power than the swap your looking to do

Manifold wouldn't be expensive on an F22A1...IIRC you can just use a DSM manifold.
