NEED HELP WITH EK - clutch pedal falls to floor
ok for some reason i have bleed my clutch 2 different times and im still getting the same problem ( here is my Problem, i have to pump the clutch to build pressure up so i can shift into the next gear, now it doesn't do it all the time just alot of the time is will also after 3500 RPM go straight to the floor like it the pressure plate that is bad but what makes it seem like its not bad is if i shift before 3500 rpm its pretty tight.
ANY IDEAS what could be wrong ?
Thanks

this is off topic but i just put a b&m short shifter in my ek coupe 1st 2nd i can shift with my pinky but for some reason its really hard to get it into 3rd gear some times and reverse help
Well you state that you changed the slave cylinder I would also change out the master. take a look under the driver foot well is there any moisture around the mc at the fire wall if so its shot. How are you bleeding the system? you should fill MC with fluid crack the bleeder at the SC until fluid starts dripping out. Close the bleeder pump the clutch pedal a few times. have a freind crack the bleeder and push the clutch pedal to the floor. Close the bleeder reach down and pull up the clutch pedal pump a few more times and repeat bleeding until no more air is in the system and you have a good pedal feel. If you are working buy yourself use a hevy weight on the clutch pedal open bleeded weight should push pedal to the floor close bleeder and remove weight pull pedal up and pump.

thanks guys for all the help and i believe it might be the master cylinder i looked under the dash and it doesn't look like its leaking but there is alot of gunk and **** piled up right where the rod is coming from the firewall part. being gunk piled up on it does that mean the master cylinder is shot?
