i have a 2000 honda civic and my cat. converter has broken 3x 7 mos apart each. i've been told that if i use a honda cat. converter this will not happen but it costs 1200 dollars. any advice? i just want to pass emissions.

 

A real catalytic converter or a test pipe? Exactly HOW is it breaking?

 

a real cat converter im assuming i paid 400 bucks for it

i do not know about cars, it breaks as in the check engine comes on and it starts rattling
