okay so I got my swap up and running and it seems to run strong except at 1500 rpms it seem as if there is some sort of 2 step. it bounces at 1500 and strugles to get past it but if I am more than a quarter throttle it doesn't do it.
I am also throwing an ECT code and my temp gauge is alway cold. I think there may be air in my cooling system but could that cause the throttle issue?

any help or ideas would be great

Fix your ect to see if it resolves the problem. If not then at least you've eliminated that already.

ok what yr is the car what yr is the motor and what wiring harness did you use. if its a stock gsr out of a 94-01 integra . you might have to switch the throttle body wires a round the stock tb opens up the oppsite way for a ls or b16

Did you connect the TPS and MAP sensors backwards?

AND ALWAYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS, ALWAYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS clear any codes before troubleshooting something else!

Could be a dirty IACV as well.

not dirty lol the plug was in but not making contact.

it was the IACV. the damn thing just wasn't making a connection. so I de-pinned the plug and crimped on two new connectors and plugged it back in. problem solved.

once that was solved the code for the ECT went away too.

now I just have to put a thermostat in the car cause the previous owner of the motor removed it completely.

but to answer all other questions
I don't clear codes until the I know the problem is fixed and most of the time I won't even have to clear the code once it is fixed.
I am running a 92 integra engine harness That I made and vtc wiring is done on a sub harness that I also made.

every issue as far as the codes are concerned is fixed so I am very happy about that.
