Icon2 98 Accord radio code

I am repairing a friends accord and after replacing his battery I need the code for his radio! The SN is M97A257327, Model# is 39100-S84-A200 and the ref# is CQ-JH1710Z! Anyone can help me with this problem I would appreciate it!! Thank you!

If you call up Honda of America they will give you the code. If he is not the original owner he had to update that information first with HoA, then he can tell them that he needs the code to his radio.

Bring the car with registration to the local dealership. If they have any sense of decency they should retrieve the code for your friend. It takes about 2 minutes.

I think you deserve a serial number if you took the time to steal someone's old crappy stock radio. Mine has a cassette deck! Makes me nervous when I leave it in an area that isn't well lit... I'm afraid hipsters might try to steal it and play their mixed tapes.

I've purchased a used OEM CD player before to upgrade my stock AM/FM/Tape deck...

There is a reason those radio codes exist.

*edit* Do I deserve seat rails if I steal someone's S2000 seats?

Then you're in luck: oem stock radios on local ad site ksl.com go between 5 and 10 dollars.

this specific one hasnt sold in over 2 months. even with best offer listed. seemingly a lucrative item to steal? maybe they are really holding out for that 95... but even this highly desirable item in 2 months has only received 179 views (which i contributed to twice). Please, try harder to convince me these codes deserve the secrecy they are given
