Default Spoon calipers - powdercoated black - with pads and rotors - IL

Up for sale are the Spoon calipers off my departed EG. I was considering running these on my EK but have decided on an different route. Before this turns into a technical thread about how to fit these to a Ford Festiva let me make this clear: I don't know if these will fit your car nor what it will take to fit them to your car.

That being said, these are sold with Hawk HPS pads, Powerslot 92-96 Prelude VTEC (4x114.3) rotors, and 10mm universal 4 lug spacers. I needed these to clear my Sprint Harts but I don't know if you'll need them to clear your wheels. More importantly, I don't care. You can have them and use them or not.

SOLD

The hardware just got back from the powdercoater and these pics are from today when I reassembled them.

Pads have less than 2000 miles on them and currently sit at 10mm of life left:

Rotors are equally new. You 4x100 guys will have to redrill these to your lug pattern. No, I don't do it. No, I don't know where you can get it done.

Cool *** 10mm spacers come with it. No, I don't know if you'll need them. No, I don't care what kind of wheels you have.

All fresh less than an hour ago:

Yes, they're legit. I had them powdercoated black because they were too loud as blue against my simple car.

Can you get them to their original color? Sure, probably. No, I won't powdercoat them for you. No, I don't have the paint code.

All the hardware was done in a reflective silver called ultra-chrome but be aware it's a powdercoat, NOT CHROME.

Here they are freshly assembled and ready to go.

After they were powdercoated I replaced the seals with the overpriced Spoon rebuild kit which costs $125 for 8 o-rings. I have a lot of money into these so if you think you can offer me $1299 or less, go jump off a bridge. The price is $1300 shipped, take it or leave it.

I'm sorry if this post seems harsh, but after dealing with lowballers from my EG and other Spoon parts all of you guys looking for a deal can **** right off.

Looks sweet but how will the powdercoat hold up under extreme heat cycles? Won't it flake off?

No, the powdercoat has been fine. I put enough miles on as a "test" for anyone interested. You'll see very easily the calipers were used.

And their original finish:

If you're at all cautious or leery - don't buy them. I don't want to act as tech support to anyone after the fact. They're 100% legit in 100% good working order. Bolt them up with your stock brake lines and go. Remember - this price tag doesn't include pads, rotors, or spacers:

Trey - I re-read you post and to clear it up I was running the calipers powdercoated on my car. I only sent the hardware out for refinishing (second to last pic in the original post). The black has held up to braking temperatures without an issue and my powdercoater claims even extreme braking temps won't affect the finish.

Thanks for the mature PM's everyone. I'm happy to report not a single low-baller PM!

To those that asked and those that have yet to ask - yes I will consider trades. If you're offering wheels I'd be willing to consider 16" 4x114.3 wheels of similar value BUT be aware I will ask you to take measurements to make sure they will clear my brakes. This is necessary. If you don't want to or are unable to, there's your answer on the trade.

Other parts would be Spoon DC2 cluster, Mugen EK cluster, Mugen EK 99-00 front lip or anything else you think will tickle my fancy.

I would trade, but not for those. They never much caught my eye. Wheels would have to be 16x7 either 4x100 for my Civic or 4x114.3 for my Integra project. Any wheels would have to clear a big brake kit - 12.2 Wilwoods on the Civic or 11.8 Acura RL on the Integra.

I already have SSR Comps for the Civic and Regamasters and TE37's for the Integra so a trade would have to be of similar value to the calipers and different from what I already own.
