i need both drivers and pass side door switches for the dome light..we painted my jams and right over the switches so their stuck,i found online
Airtex 1S4557 Door Jamb Switch but is the swtich the same for pass and drivers side? please help it doesnt list a drivers or pass side..so i ad ASSUME it works on both sides,just wanna make sure before i order them, THANKS

 

yes both switches are the same. have you tried just using some acetone or paint remover to clean up the old ones? or are they pretty thick with paint lol

 

good to know. my drivers side switch broke when the previous owner slammed the seatbelt in the door repeatedly. there are dents all over the place!
