If i remember correctly the starter is located on the front side of the engine just below the throttle body.

They are definitely not located in a real convenient spot, but as civicsir924 said, it does take a little bit to get one out. The starter is located bottom rear of the engine. Just follow positive battery cable, it leads you straight to it.

It's on the front ofbthe engine under the intake manifold. The manifold is two pieces and has reusable gaskets. But do yourself a favor and get a Honda starter. All of the aftermarket starters I've installed had never worked and then u have wasted a bunch of time and money putting on something that doesn't work
