save the del so restoration built f22 turbo inside
My fiance decided she wanted to get into the hobby a little bit and build a car. Rather than buy another car she decided to just do the one we have so this is what we have
I paid $300 to a lady down the street who said it didn't run but didn't know why. I took it home charged the battery for 10mins then it started right up been driving ever since. The car started as a automatic si and we are now swapping out a f22a6 and f23 prelude si tranny out of my accord

installed the koni yellow struts and skunk 2 coilovers i had laying around

I had planned to leave it all haggard primer and what not but she had a different idea about that so....

It hasn't been we sanded yet and the front bumper hasn't been finished yet but it will be soon then we get to start installing the goodies. There is the parts donor for the swap most of it anyways i have a built f22a6 sitting next to the del sol now

well today being that it was nice i decided to mount the intercooler

this still has to be trimmed a little bit because i'm having the intercooler backdoored

The bumper wasn't painted yet because my paint guy was fixing some problems with it

So since the past 2 days have been nice I decided to do some with on the del sol. I removed all interior and the trunk panels as well as the mirrors and sideskirts so there will be no old color to be seen anywhere. I also removed the windshield wiper panel.

I also started putting my 5spd pedals in. this is not fun

My buddy had a f series turbo sol. Got to drive it for 20minutes before some kid rearended him and totalled the car. He then swapped the setup into a ek coupe. Good motors to work with.
i figured thats what you used, did u get the combo package that came with 9.1:1 comp pistons or did you get those separate. The reason im asking is because i was looking to get combo but the thing thats throwing me off is that it says LONG, which i dont understand. Heres the link http://bisimoto.com/store/index.php?...roducts_id=311
I bought then separate but when I went to zeallworks.com and put all my engine specs in it ended up being right at 9:1:1. Also my pistons are a 86mm bore which brought the compression up a bit
hmm ok, guess imma have to get into contact with bisi and see exactly what the description means, the price is great and it comes with 86mm pistons, buying these separate would easily add a couple hundred and thats just silly at this point. Thanks again for the info
I got the motor for doing a timing belt for a friend.it had 1 bad piston because an out of spec bisi cam so I had to replace that which was $132 so not to expensive to me. The rods and pistons were originally bought as a combo through bisi though
