Hello Honda-tech!

I was just wondering well A. what transmission is compatible with my engine? I have a d16a6 block with a d16z6 head (mini-me)... Would the D15b trans from a 88-91,92-85,96-00 work with my setup??? I think she is starting to whine.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried googling and read through the faqs but couldn't find anything that was related. Would any b series trans be compatible? Lmk please thank you!!!

 

you cannot use a b series trans on your d series engine. an d15b trans will fit your engine yes. although you wanna stay with a cable D trans unless you plan on buying diff trans mount and converting to hydro clutch parts. if your trans is whining why not inspect it and try to fix it? maybe a bad release beraring/pilot bearing

 

trade me your cable tranny and will give you my hydro...
