ok so i jus bought a 94 accord ex 2.2 with vtec and i was changing the distributor cap and all the bolts snaped, can anyone help me on what to do

 

Damn, which way did you turn the screws? Lefty or Righty?? They don't just snap if you loosen them right.

 

lol i kno but i was loosening them and all the jus snapped

 

a few ways it depends how they broke. if there tightand the end of screw is hanging out back u could vise-grip it out rest of way. or easy-out drill bit or a drill bit about the same size but smaller to miss threads if u have a steady hand

 

yeah i tried the drillin part but didnt work very well ill try the vice grips thanks

 

Take out the dist. that'll make things easier or is it off the car?

 

na its still on the car im worried those bolts are gonna break also

 

Those 3 12mm bolts that hold the distributor on will not break. Take them out, remove the distributor from the car, try to vice grip the cap bolts out from the back side flange, heat them up with a propane torch if you have one. Those bolts are pretty common for breaking, if you cant get them out or you screw up the distributor you will need to get one from a junk yard or a new one. Good luck.
