There's a display for that crap up at the local Pep Boys with two vertical sets of gears sitting in oil. The gears are attatched to little finger cranks you use to spin them, thus illustrating that the set with the treated oil actually sticks to the gears as it climbs to the top, while the untreated oil seems to have much lower film strength and does not coat the gears as well.
Funny thing is though, the set with the untreated oil is noticably easier to turn.

i don't think i need it. i have a 2000 gsr w/toda valve train, spoon head gasket, and some other go fast stuff. it only has 29k on it. i was just wondering if it was worth using or not.
