Default wiring question.

so a while ago i try'd to do a mpfi and mini me swap on my ef sedan. i messed up the wiring horribly tryn to do this myself. so i was wondering if i just got the part of the wiring harness from the ecu to the motor for the z6 head would it work?

As long as you remember that not all of the wiring in the engine harness goes straight to the ecu, and some wiring from the ecu doesnt go the engine harness (hope I didn't confuse you). Then you should be ok. If you need one built lmk I make them.

kinda did get confused haha you me as in some wiring from the engine goes to things like the dash as far as warning lights an such yeah?

Not all of the wires in the engine harness lead straight to the ecu. Some wires go to the dash, fuse box, etc.

Some wiring from the ecu goes to the engine harness and other non-engine components.

its 4 wires...2 injectors and 2 to the dizzy. done this 4 times with no issues. maybe it was easy cause i have a 91?

Hold on I just re read your posting.
You want to swap in an ecu harness from a z6 (obd1) motor?

i guess. idk really. this is my first car/swap.

i messed up my wiring really bad an friend told me to get it runnin i jus needa get the z6 harness an hook it up to the motor then the ecu.

i did a mpfi swap while doing the mini swap an messed the wiring up tryna wire the injectors an ecu ( cuz i tryd to wire the p28 ecu up without the jumper harness )
