nos brand sniper kit....comes with 35,50,75 jets ..... as of now im planning on the 50 shot.

per all the nissan guys, the snail is going to top out at 18psi......i plan on maybe 16-18psi on the street...as high as safely possible really

for the track maybe toss 20-22psi at it with the 50 shot...we'll see how it works out

the nitrous should turn that ridiculously hot air intpo something cold, dense and usable that my thinking behind it anyway...that and the nitrous will give me a bit to....

i see most gt28r(30lbs/min) turbos topping out at 280whp or so so my t28(33lbs/min) will hopefully get me to 300whp....and then whatever the nitrous adds on top for the track....set-up better get me to 11.999 or faster

thanks for the kind words

also here is a pic of the temporary rollers - bbs asa em9's

once the tires are gone i'm going to sell them and drop down to a 15 to run some dunlop star specs since they dont make them in a 205-40(or 45)-16

picked up a lil something......just incase i wanna go with the hx35

no its not a cheap ebay mani....but the t3 flange and wastgate flange is cracked.....no biggy, its not anything i cant fix....it has a bmc d16 flange so im guessing someone made it....i dont think bmc actually makes manifolds

and i got a ****-ton done to the car......new harness installed, a few plugs seem to be missing.....i gotta spend some time to figure it out if they are missing or i missed them, i had to swap out water-pipes because apparently the y7 only has one nipple not two....i just about torqued down the mani before i saw that was missing....took awhile but i got it....

mani hooked up and pluged in, same with turbo mani

its getting closer

what gauges.....i have a discontinued along *** time ago autometer dash pod and i have the lower jdm audio consol i put my radio in, then made a block off plate with a couple 2" holes cut for the gauges in the radio space

small update:

so i sold my t28/ mani/ downpipe......

and bought an hx35 (8 blade) ....had fiment issues with the gigantic comp housing so i brought my mani to ledger racing which is extremely good at what they do which consists more off rally / baja / offroading vehicles.....they are a complete fab shop with great prices

so ~100 later i got the manifold back from the welder....well that also counts the bov flange welded and bead rolled chargepipes.....

but it came out great....its placed perfect and also has the flange cocked slightly to make the comp housing sit even with the head flange so i will have block clearence as well....unfortunalty the slave cyl. is in the way....nothing an h22 slave wont fix

on to the pics you damn ******

and onto the hx35....from what i've read up on lightly is that is the older style as it has 8 blades on the compressor wheel

im either going to have to have hit redo the wg runner as its to close to the core support or notch the core support.....i'm going to pick up my injectors today(rc 750cc) that i picked up on a local forum as well as stop by o'reileys at lunch and pick up the slave cyl.

shooting for 400+whp /11's this year/ 10's next year with bigger slicks and better suspention..... will have more pics soon

its in.....well one bolt...still need a t3 gasket and wg gasket.....i had the little box with all the **** that came w/ the wg and i cannot for the life of me find it that had extra hardware and gaskets....anywho..... pics of mockup

and i had to make a lil extra room

gound out a fair amount of material there and also on the rib behind the turbo....its had to tell but the pic is of one of the bulges from the block where the tranny bolt goes

also finished mocking up the charge pipes, i got the one pipe marked where it needs to be cut and bead rolled, and the 90* coupler that came with the kit had a 2 to 2 1/2" 90 reducer....i need a 2 1/2 90*

-drain line fitting is on its way

-walbro 255 is on its way from greg at go-autoworks

-new 5 bolt aem cam gear is on its way

also thank you tron(xceedspeed and DSO)....i had to hog out the mounting holes on the h22 slave cylinder as they were a bit wider by about 1/4" but all is well.....and with ample clearence now

Default Re: "miss civic" 95 hatch - built turbo d16 with a side of giggle juice

im not very good at updating this

4-14-11

i think these should quench the thirst of the hx35

saturated 750cc rc injectors

also trying to figure out this wiring nightmare.....i dont know what the hell is going on, i bought it from a member on xceedspeed.com and it is rediculus.....ok if wired or plugs break but all you have to do is wire them back up to the same color wire....the vtec plug is wired to the temp sensor wires...the other grey plug that goes to the vtec sol. is running another sensors wire, the plug for the speed sensor is non existent....as so much more....this is the reason i bought a vtec harness....i just wanted a plug and play harness without having to wire **** up....ughhh

this all started cuz the speed sensor and temp sensor plugs were gone....i noticed the o2 sensor was rewired...upon further investigation i see that there is new elec tape....once i pealed it back i wanted to punch someone....no nothing was soldered...not even twisted properly

anyone got a really cheap vtec harness....that is not molested

well i was gonna pick up a spare parts harness from benny...but he forgot it....so...i man'd up and got to work

before:

during:

after:

all soldered, heat shunk, wire loomed and taped up

also got some more goodies in the mail

walbro 255 from my man greg at GOautoworks

and i had to rep my favorite state

ordered and awaiting arival:

ebay 3" downpipe ....honestly cheaper than buying the flanges, flex pipe, mandrel bends, pipe .....already know that is going to need mods...still gotta order the v-band flange

t3 gasket

m16x1.5 to 4an adapter

4an to 3an adapter

90* 2.5-2.5 silicone coupler..... my kit came with a 2"-2.5" 90* reducer

and my drain flange showed up yesterday as well

i also found out that my oil pan does not fit.....so i gotta go to the junkyard and find a y7/y8 oil pan and pick-up

got a ton done today.....aside from the few hours i spent repairing the harness(did i mention he had the injector plugs all f-d up to...yes i fixed those as well) intake mani permently on, 90% complete battery relocation to the rear hatch...gotta go to the wal-marts and get me a marine battery box for $15.00. cleaned up the bay a bit...got a bunch of the small yety time consuming things out the way so when i got to start up its all done

still need

ecu vtec conversion parts

basemap

3" v-band flange and clamp

y-series oil pan and pick up

drain bung for oil pan

TIME!!!!

got some small updates

well i got some suspention goodies

i got these some time ago...just never got around to taking pics

also sold the nitrous kit to fund a killer deal on some used k-sports

and a lovely present from my fience

and my 3" dp came in....gotta get a v-band for it

also got some work done today.....went to the local speed shop and they had a 90* 4an to 4an swivle fitting that worked perfect...my feed line did not fit with the fittings i ordered ....so got mani/turbo/ oilfeed/ wastegate all bolted up.....not much but it took a bit of work....had to do some trimming to the underside of the core support to get the mani on. it all fit on mock up bolting on one by one, but getting the entire assembly put together i needed a bit more room to slide it into place.....so onto a couple pics

i keep forgetting to grab the valve cover so i can drill one more hole in it for the breather set-up

been a while.......let me catch you guys up

5/6/11

went a different route on my hot side charge piping....cut a little out of the core support "webbing" whatever you want to call in....and tossed a 90 off the fmic and then a 90 aluminum pipe to the turbo....prolly cut 2 ft of piping out doing it this way as well....main reason is i have a driver side downpipe....this gives me tons of room for it

F*CK SUSPENTION WORK for real....i got the driver side rear just about done...took an hour and a half between broken bolts, cutting, punching, ect to get it all out so i can install ksports and rlca's i have...fronts are already on, one spindle is at the shop getting new wheel bearing and lower ball joint....oh and walbro 255 is installed as well

vc has beed drilled and vented, oil pan i picked up at the junk yard is in the truck and need to bring it to the shop to drill it for the drain fitting, got a battery box and its all wired i just need to permanatly mount the box and im gonna put in a vent tube for it. got all my fluids sitting there.....had the hot side piping i made beadrolled and i installed it...gonna meet up with a guy this weekend sometime so he can convert my p06 to a p28 and i ordered a xeno base map a few days ago so that should be here anytime now....it'll be up and running next week...fingerss crossed

there is a 1/4 to 1/2" gap all the way around that should account for engine movement

and i never heard of borg werner wires but they assured me they were really good quaility....he tried to sell me the cheap ones cuz he was not to keen on special ordering the ngk's....i said well they are going on a 400+whp civic....his eyes opened wide and he goes damn...well then i suggest these....lol

any feedback on these would be nice....are they going to be ok

5/6/11.....later in the day

Also picked up this bad boy from the shop

Driver side spindle + new wheel bearing and lower balljoint...along with the arp extended studs....might look funny for a few weeks till I get around to doing the other side....total for both set of arps,1 wheel bearing and balljoint all installed....130 can't complain about that

5/9/11

got alot done yesterday....she is just about ready to turn over

still need my base map from xenocron ...i think it'll be here today, and i need to get my ecu converted....i was going to a local guy that has all the stuff already but he is next to impossible to get ahold of.....install alt. belt....go back a check every nut and bolt that it is tight.....i also need my other v-band flanges to get here asap....i ordered them friday which sucks....so they should be here sometime this week then i can have the fab dude cut and tack weld the flange on so i can drive to his shop ~ 3 miles and have him get the dp right

once i get it back on all 4's i need to pull it out of the garage to be able to get to the pass. rear and get that suspention swapped out

also got my vband flanges in and vbanded the downpie.....and yes i got all 4 corners done.....i want it lower buti need a break from suspention work for a min....lol

5/15/11

well it made it to thwe xceedspeed.com westside meet....

having some oiling problems....

cold start = good oil psi ~85-95psi

warm idle = bad ~ 5-10psi

cruise = low ~ 45psi at 3300rpms in 5th gear highway cruising

builds pressure just fine.... motor is running 5w30

gonna swap out oil for 10w40 or 20w50 and see what happens....i just had this oil lying around and i know i have to change it withing 100miles so we'll see there

temps seemed ok...on the higherside which i figure is the fact the radiator is just about touching the manifold

open 3" downpipe with big cam = load yet very mean sound......lol....needless to say i need an exhaust asap....and to adjust the coilovers lower

phone was dead at the meet but i shot some once i got home
