I know some will say this belongs in appearence/cosmetic, but I missed Nopi due to illness and wondered if anyone had S pics. Especially the twin turbo one. Thanks in advance.

the outside edge of the rotor was wavy... WTF?!?!

The rotors are the Pinnacle Brake kit for the S2000. They are waved to improve airflow/save weight. Really to save weight. Pick up the October issue of Sport Compact Car: it features a three S2000 shootout. One of those three was Dave Kennedy's Supercharged S2000 equipped with these rotors.

 

Any more pics of this ?? This is a local car, I had no idea Turbo Specialties put a car in NOPI. They are 5 minutes from my house. Pretty sweet car!

that silver supercharged s2k is Aaron Bankers out of York Pa. It was originally done by fox marketing but aaron decided to establish his own marketing firm. i think there are still pics of it on http://www.foxmarketing.net . that s2k was in octobers issue of super street. wonder what happened to his brakes...that is kinda nasty, those wheels are sick though. Brian Fox of fox marketing is workin on alot of other really sick projects right now, i see him every weekend, check out the site

 

Aarons car is a good example of a riced out S2000 in my opinion... I live in york and i have talked to Aaron twice, he is a real *ocksucker if you ask me. He thinks he is better then everyone else.... By the way about the front mount intercooler on his car, i know the the owners of the shop who done his car, Dyno proved the intercooler restricted power, it was a total waist of money..
I dont know why people get there panties all bunched up when they see his car, its like big whop, its just a s2000, there starting to become a dime a dozen anymore. Try asking him to race you, be backs off like a little girl..
Owell i guess i am just being sarcastic cause i perfer cleaner and more functionable cars then his and his attitude towards others doesnt help either...

 

yeah ill give you credit that its a little riced out, but the car was built for show. as for aarons personality i think thats a personal issue. no offense but you got a 91 civic man, and your talkin **** about one of the most highly tuned s2000 on the east coast, and he has won a ton of money off that car. id take it any day of the week, yeah i bet he wouldnt race you, w/the carbon fiber lip on it it sits like a half inch off the ground. bottom line i think he did a good job w/the car, took alot of time and alot of effort. ill give him credit for that

 

First of all Aaron doesnt have the most highly tuned car on the east coast. I have seen plenty better and his car looks like a bag of RICE. I take offense when people say he has the most highly tuned car. I will run him with my turbo s2k and see what happens. Also have just as much work as he does with a cleaner outcome !!

 

read a little closer, i never said he had "the" most highly tuned, i said one of the, which is hard to deny. to tell you the truth i really could care less about either one of your cars. fight it out b/w each other, take it up w/him if you think his car is ****.
