Started having problems while driving down the highway this morning. My CEL came on, and my car is having a lot of difficulty getting past 30mph without me stomping the gas to the floor. Checked the ECU, it blinks 1 long and 16 short. not so worried about the code 1... it's more about the code 16 im throwing. are there fuel injectors on my dpfi motor or just a carb? if there's just a carb, then how would i go about changing it? any other suggestions on what my problem could be?

idk.. im a little lost with ecu codes..

 

um one long flash and 16 other fast ones isnt even a code. if it was 16 itd be 1 long then 6 fast. wtf 16 flashes??

 

wrong for ecu codes for a pm6.... obd0 car... its how many flashes and when it pauses the next count of flash is the next code it is throwing.. so if you see 1 flash... you might want ot check your edl... then if you cound 6 flashes... then check what 6 flashes are for.... or how ever many flashes are shown....
