I'm totally guessing, but... it's pretty tight with the stock 4! Seems like you'd need a pretty creative fab person/shop to customize the mounts (etc) required to pull it off.

Find a good deal on the legend engine/transmission?

Well, yes... mustangs with big-block engines and headers where you had to loosen the motor mounts and jack it up to change the spark plugs. Had to lift my sub 2" to get everything to fit under the hood and in the transmission tunnel.

Still, as I wrote what I did I was picturing a y-shaped 6 cyl sideways in that space and wondering... ; ' )

That $200 might end up costing you thousands.
Why not put a V-8 in? Just cut a tunnel for a drive shaft and whola!

Not worth it at all!! Flip the legend for a quick 200-300 bucks.

You'll be spending more on fabrication to the engine mounts alone. Not to mention custom wiring, OBD0/OBD1 conversions issues.. Not worth it.

If your question is if it's a straight swap, then no, it's not a straight swap.
