USDM vs canadian p30 ecu
Im going to try and bar my ej1 and came across a canadian p30 and want to know if it was the same as the usdm and be able to get bar'd. searched a little and couldnt find anything. plz help. thanks in advance
As far as passing BAR I'm pretty sure it has to be a USDM ECU, Canadian ECUs will communicate with the DLC connector and everything and should be functionally identically the US ECU, but it will most likely fail the visual inspection.

OBD2 Canadian civics/integras have no ELD (and consequently the ECU doesn't look for one), OBD1 do as far as I can tell, OBD1 alternators are at least all 4 wire anyway.
