alternator that came with the B16 is apparently siezed. I used a ratchet to break it free so now it spins, the the "action" feels gritty.

I am told that replacing the bearings will make it a-ok again? Would anybody happen to know if I could simply move the good bearings from the D16 distributor? Plug and play?
