2001 CRV. Vehicle rear ended and center (stereo) console almost ended up in the back seat. Sound, slowly, started to break-up intermittently, then stopped altogether. No power interruption. Thought maybe aftermarket Kenwood head was damaged, so bought another stereo. Same problem. Is there an amp involved with this vehicle? Nothing in any schematic shows one and all of the connections (speaker) have tested good. Any suggestions?

 

is it dead right now.? did you the fuse? maybe the harness got pulled...check the connectors/harness behind the center console
