D Series Mini-me No Start, but clicks once. Have Searched and tested, results inside!
Hey HT,
I recently swapped in a d15b7 block in to my 95 EX in a jam on the cheap. I got the car started and it ran but after chasing down a few issues It will not start.
-The Starter is good, bench tested and engages fine
-12v to the starter B+ all the time
-Clicks so I assume the signal is fine
-Battery Voltage 12.56v KOEO
-Transmission ground wire .2 Ohms resistence (it is brand new and sanded paint on chassis)
-Used the negative side of a pair of jumper cables to test the ground and symptom remained the same
-Oil, Battey and MIL light come on at the 2nd click of the key then go out like they should
- Visual inspection of the Main Relay show no cracks in the solder.
-Fuel pump comes on and relay does click a few times in the Key cycle
-Used a battery tender and got 14v on charge still just one click
-The battery is only a year old but again, this holds 12.5v without a problem
- All fuses under dash and in the engine bay look fine, nothing blown
-Motor is not siezed, I can turn it fine with a socket
I can't think of anything else. Im not an Idiot I have done this many times, but Im stumped. Some one please help me out im in a tough situation right now.
Could the ecu be the problem? I don't know why a bad ecu would prevent the starer from cranking if it clicks once though

Have you checked the wire that goes to the starter? the small one that like slides over the little metal piece?
