When nitrous attacks
The other day I was out to lunch with my friend in his 88 CRX Si with a couple bolt-ons and the NOS dry kit. He works for a shop and ordered a B17 a week ago, so knowing that he had a new motor on the way, he put in a ZEX 75 shot jet, and drilled it out, he guesstimated it at a 150 shot and he had it set up with the WOT switch. That on a internally stock D16A6. So we were on main street here in town and he armed the system and floored it. The instant the nitrous injected......BAM!!!!! he blew it. well we took the car back to his shop and pulled the motor, and there are two 2" x 3" holes in the front of the block, on cylinder's #2 and 3. the #2 and 3 pistons completely shattered, and shot holes in the oil pan, bent the #1 conecting rod. The block also has 5 holes near the oil filter, overall the block looks like a cracked egg shell.
Now normally all this would have sucked ***, but he has a B17 that'll be in, around 2 weeks from now, and has a 2nd car. so he was just laughin his *** off. I wouldn't have been if it were my car.

I nosed the **** of my HF motor when before we pulled it... no jets, no wot, but straight bottle and taped the line to the intake.... ka-boom! reverse detenation. have it on tape too!
Wow...at least we now know whats gonna happen if...
. No man, I wasn't sure. Taking almost 2x the normal HP and spraying it right in to the engine, I shoudl it would hold it...It's Honda man, geeze
Sounds awesome.

This all reminds me of a story. A friend went to the track with the owners of an import shop in Richmond, VA. They were running their beater, an 87-88 4 door civic with LS swap and nitrous. He was running with like a 50 shot and half way down the track there was a huge BOOM! They drove the car into the pits and ran compression, one of the cylinders had no compression. He had a trailer there so he bumped the nitrous up to a 100 shot and ran again. Down the track they hear another huge BOOM! Drove back into the pits, run compression and every cylinder, including the one that was bad, was at 100% compression!
