1994 HONDA CIVIC EX 5SPD MANUAL COUPE


BOUGHT THIS CAR, THE RADIO HAD BEEN STOLEN. ORDERED A NEW HEAT/AC CONTROL PANEL. THERES A LONG BLACK CABLE COMING OUT THE BACK OF IT WITH A WIRE LOOP ON THE END & 2 OTHER PLUGS. WHAT DO I CONNECT THAT CABLE TO?

My stereo had gotten stolen, as you can see in the video. So, I kinda had to learn on my own how to remove it.

@RonJ@ht Thanks. I saw where it connected because that cable was still connected from when they pulled out the stereo. I will use your diagram when I get the controls installed.
@Blacknight117 I havent hooked up that cable yet because Im still trying to get the green connector in. Ugh its trying my patience. They took my climate control panel also. So got the new one in the mail yesterday. Those clips are a pain! Unfortunately I plugged in the cream colored one first. Now I trying to reach through the stereo area & up behind to get the green one it. Essentially I'm trying to do it backwards. I wish I could get that cream clip undone & plug it in last! I keep going out to my car every so often to try it because I get frustrated! lol But I will use your info for when I connect that cable! Thanks!

 

Just be patient with it. It took my about 3 hours to get them out.

 

I lost patience. I took off the lower part of the dash, whatever its called & unplugged the other connections at the other end of the harness. ha ha Got it done finally! Although I did notice tonight that only part of the climate control lights up. Gotta look to see if maybe I got a bad one or maybe theres a light to replace?
