Don't bother with either. Save your money and do it the right way the first time.

Top, is coilovers. They allow you to adjust the height of the car.
Bottom:lowering springs, one set height.

Buy quality parts. Those aren't even close.

Yes, if you have to use stock shocks they would likely fit.

I had Koni Yellows with Tein S-techs and loved the ride.
You might want to try H-techs instead for less of a drop though.

For $150 you're stuck with springs. You can't get a decent coilover for $150

You can't do **** with $150 Remember you still need an alignment after. Which will eat up half..

Save your money. You don't need to lower it you want to lower it.
Learn from my mistakes. I bought cheep stuff, and now 1 by 1 I have to replace almost everything I bought.

By all means, If you want to buy cheep coilovers than do it. But expect your shocks to blow, expect your car to handle and ride like ****. And expect people to point and laugh at you when you, when they see you bouncing out of your seat.

Ground control, skunk2 at the bottom line.

But, they are a only going to be as good as your shocks. and, stock shocks are great for lowering.

Look at skunk2 shocks.
There is the koni srt-t, but I don't know how they'll hold the spring rates.

Koni STR.T would be good if they make them for your application.

You'll need at least $500 to get quality shocks, lowering springs, and an alignment to avoid trashing your tires.

From my exp., I'd recommend eibach sportlines. They run about $220 but could be foound on CL for like $100. Good springs. Ride wont be too bad.
