A/C LIGHT ON CONTROLS WONT COME ON
I JUST INSTALLED ALL COMPONENTS FOR A/C LINES AND ALL, I WENT TO START FILLING W FREEON AND STILL THE A/C LIGHT WILL NOT COME ON, NEITHER WILL THE CLUTCH ON THE COMPRESSOR.. ANY IDEAS??? 92 INTEGRA LS
check your refrigerant level--if its too low it will not allow a/c to operate
Freeon, what exactly are you using??
Your cars A/C uses R12 refrigerant, or if retrofitted, R134a refrigerant.
I agree with geetee74
A low refrigerant charge would prevent system from working.
A bad relay or pressure switch would also be a problem.
Also you said you added "freeon", did you put refrigerant oil into the system?
Did this car have A/C that was removed and you have reinstalled it?
When you say, "I JUST INSTALLED ALL COMPONENTS FOR A/C LINES AND ALL" does that mean you also installed the A/C Diode "pack", A/C thermostat, A/C compressor clutch relay, is the ECU/ECM the correct one, is A/C thermostat input, [blue/red] and A/C compressor clutch relay output, [yellow] connected to ECU/ECM?
I would start with basic test,
First, check fuse 17 -7.5A, [hot in run] in under dash fuse box, second turn blower switch on, [any speed] turn A/C switch on, test the blue/red input lead at the pressure switch, it should test as ground. 94
